Question: Will the costs of Ortho-Bionomy therapy be covered by my health insurance?
Answer: As a rule, they will not be covered; however, please double-check with your health insurance.

Question: How long does a treatment session last?
Answer: Treatment sessions last between 15 and 90 minutes; this is arranged with your practitioner.

Question: How much does a treatment session cost?
Answer: The costs depend on the length of the treatment session; you should ask your practitioner about the costs.

Question: Will any instruments be used in the treatment?
Answer: No.

Question: How much time should elapse between sessions?
Answer: It depends on the current health condition of the patient. As a rule, acute conditions are treated with greater frequency (every 2-3 days); otherwise, treatment usually takes place once a week or even in greater intervals.

Question: How many sessions in total are necessary or recommended?
Answer: The number of sessions varies from person to person and will be recommended by your practitioner. It is adviseable that you talk over any changes in your physical and emotional state after 3 – 6 treatment sessions.

Question: Do I have to undress fort he treatment?
Answer: It may be an advantage for assessing your problems for you to remove one of two items of clothing. However, for the treatment itself, it is not necessary to undress.

Question: Is it also possible to take Ortho-Bionomy treatment even if I don’t have any acute problems?
Answer: Yes, some people “treat” themselves to a session once a month because it improves their sense of well-being and their sense of self-awareness. It is like a “short holiday.”

Question: Can someone undergoing chemotherapy be treated with Ortho-Bionomy?
Answer: Yes, because Ortho-Bionomy supports the re-organisation of the body.

Question: When should Ortho-Bionomy NOT be used?
Answer: In the case of certain psychiatric disorders or emotional problems, Ortho-Bionomy should only be performed by someone who is also a psychotherapist.
